Abraham Sesay‍ has locked in his return to Notre Dame.

The 2027 Pennsylvania edge defender will be back in South Bend on April 25 for the Blue-Gold Game as he continues to evaluate the Irish.

His offer sheet includes Notre Dame, Alabama, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M and USC among others.

Notre Dame continues to draw him back because of the balance he sees within the program.

“It’s just the combination of education with football,” Sesay said. “They’re very known internationally. Their education and their beautiful campus along with the culture and the long tradition they have is really cool. It’s really rich.

“It’s really refreshing. That’s what keeps drawing me to come back.”

The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder has also developed steady communication with Irish defensive line coach Charlie Partridge.

“Me and Coach Partridge talk very frequently,” he said. “It’s been great just getting to know him.”

The Downingtown East standout described Partridge’s approach as direct but personal.

“He’s a great person,” Sesay said. “Overall, a great person. An even better coach.

“Just being able to really coach guys and care about them and know the guys. He’s a really friendly guy, really great person, but eager and will push you to the max.”

Beyond Notre Dame, Sesay has visits scheduled to Florida State on March 28 and Miami on April 9.

Sesay’s goal for the spring is to narrow his focus ahead of official visits.

“After spring visits, I’m really going to focus on the five schools I want to take my OVs to and work from there,” he said.

He would like to have a final decision made in the summer.

Sesay first visited Notre Dame for the Irish’s home finale against Syracuse in November.

This next trip to South Bend will be about observing the program more closely.

“Really just seeing how Coach Partridge coaches, how he coaches the guys compared to just talking to them,” he said.

“Just being able to see more of that tradition and different from a game, behind the scenes, what it takes to be a Notre Dame player and what they do on a daily basis.”
