2027 Texas DB Commit Karnell James Talks Notre Dame Offer

Notre Dame added a new name to its 2027 defensive board last week when Karnell James‍ received an offer from the Irish.

The 2027 Texas safety announced the scholarship after speaking with members of the Notre Dame staff.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder first got in touch with Director of Recruiting Advancement Jourdan Blake. 

“He told me a little about the Notre Dame program,” James said.
