Lyght Checks on Starling Thomas

Starling Thomas has been a name rising up the Notre Dame radar as the Irish look for cornerbacks in the 2018 class. The 5-foot-11, 170-pounder had defensive backs coach Todd Lyght at his high school on Wednesday, and it only strengthened the relationship between the two sides.

“Coach Lyght has been telling me I am going to get an offer,” Thomas told Irish Sports Daily. “They want me to come to Irish Invasion in June. They want me to see the campus.
