Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame would be justified in continuing to complain that they got screwed out of being in the College Football Playoff, but that wouldn’t help them at all this year. The approach he and the program have taken has been the right one. He’s made it a mantra that they have to leave no doubt this season and that’s something that is fueling the team.
