If there was anyone who thought that college football wasn’t headed into the direction of a “super league” with only the top teams competing, they probably feel differently after what was said today. As Notre Dame athletic director Pete Bevacqua put it, a super league is inevitable without Congressional action.

I have felt this was coming for a while and wrote this back in February of 2024.
