It’s a big day for the Jones family.
2027 receiver Julius Jones Jr. committed to the Fighting Irish and his brother, 2028 defensive back Andre Jones has also given his pledge to Notre Dame as Marcus Freeman completes the clean sweep for the Jones family.
The 6-foot, 170-pounder added an offer from Notre Dame in April and was back in South Bend over the weekend for his brother's official visit.
In 2025, Jones recorded 37 tackles, one interception and four passes defended for national powerhouse St. Thomas Aquinas.
Jones chose Notre Dame over 20 other offers, including Florida State, Indiana, Oregon, Penn State and Texas A&M.
The South Florida native is Notre Dame’s second commit in 2028, joining kicker Owen Davies.
