The 2023 recruiting cycle was the first full one for Marcus Freeman as head coach at Notre Dame. It looked like it had the potential to be the highest ranked group for the Irish in a while.

It didn’t end up that way. No one could reasonably complain about the results they’ve gotten from the players they did sign, but there was a sense of what could have been at the time because of de-commitments and near misses.

Charles Jagusah was the only Notre Dame commit in the 2023 ISD Fab 50.
