Fran Brown’s first 17 games as head coach at Syracuse were about as good as anyone could have hoped for.

He went 10-3 in his first year with a veteran team and the highlight was taking down Miami in the 2024 regular season finale. That loss knocked out the Hurricanes from a College Football Playoff bid.
