Linebacker may be the one position where Notre Dame can look back at the Class of 2027 and feel like it missed.

The Irish have a commitment from Roman Igwebuike, but no other linebackers currently in the class and none appear to be on the verge of joining him, at least not yet. 

There are reasons for that, most notably the amount of turnover Notre Dame experienced at linebackers coach during a critical stretch of the cycle.
