Smith Will Bring Speed

One thing is certain, Notre Dame is adding some serious speed with today’s announcement of wide receiver Cam Smith coming to South Bend as a graduate transfer from Arizona State.

The 6-foot, 203-pounder had a promising start to his career in Tempe before a knee injury caused him to miss his entire junior season in 2015. After catching eight balls for 129 yards as a freshman, he snagged 41 passes for 596 yards and six touchdowns as a sophomore in 2014.
