Notre Dame has added a pair of four-star cornerbacks in each of its last two recruiting classes.

The Irish signed Khary Adams and Chaston Smith in the 2026 class and already have commitments from Ace Alston and Xavier Hasan in 2027.

But the 2028 cornerback cycle will be different in one significant way.

Those groups were recruited by Mike Mickens, who left Notre Dame for the Baltimore Ravens following the 2025 season.
