Rice visited Notre Dame 12 years ago to play the Irish at the beginning of the 2014 season. That feels like it happened 400 years ago and the only memorable thing I can recall from that game was Everett Golson lighting them up for over 13 yards per attempt with two huge plays to Will Fuller and CJ Prosise when he was still a receiver.

Rice had won 10 games the season before and won eight games that year. They haven’t had a winning season since then.
