Notre Dame’s offense is off to a good start. They’re rated third in OF+ (combined FEI and SP+ rating) and are averaging 4.24 points per drive through the first three games.

Out of the eight teams who are averaging more points per drive than them, Mississippi State is the only other program who has also played two Power 4 opponents. Indiana and Nebraska haven’t even played one yet.
