Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman spoke for the final time before Saturday's game against Purdue. 

On his time at Purdue:
“You hear me often say there's a lot of lessons from losing. We didn't win a whole bunch of games. I think we were 9-30-something. You learn lessons, right? I'll tell you what, I got a lot of respect for Darrell Hazel, who was the head coach at that time, and how we did things. Maybe you reflect on why we didn't have success.
