There’s only so many more adjectives that can be used to describe Notre Dame’s defense that I haven’t used already. Even without multiple starters and playing a true freshman at safety, they continue to amaze with how well they’ve performed.

The starting defense has scored more touchdowns (three) than they’ve allowed (two) through four games.
