Notre Dame’s 37-26 win over North Carolina wasn’t the cleanest game of the year, but it was also one the Irish needed to get to where they want to go.
The offense looked like many of its games this season. Notre Dame put up big numbers and moved the ball consistently, scoring on six of 10 drives, including running out the clock to end both halves. But the biggest difference was that Notre Dame found its running game as they totaled 241 yards on the ground.
