After camping at Notre Dame this past weekend, RJ Hart is even more hopeful he could land an offer from the Irish at some point.

The 2019 wide receiver from Pennsylvania already has offers from Temple, Toledo and Howard and was in South Bend this weekend to show the Irish staff what he could do.

“While I was at Notre Dame I had a chance to talk to the coaches and show them my route-running ability and catching ability,” the 6-foot-2, 200-pounder from Plum High School said.

“I was able to show the coaches how I use my strength in my routes and my strong hands.”

The Pittsburgh native had a chance to spend time with Irish wide receivers coach Del Alexander.

“Coach Alexander said he likes the way I use my strength in my routes and likes my catching ability,” said Hart.

“I think Coach Alexander gave me some good tips about route-running and showed me good drills for me to do.”

Hart also had an opportunity to speak with Irish offensive coordinator Chip Long.

“I had a good talk with Coach Long he said he will be looking forward to watching me this season and I'm still deciding which game I will go to this year,” the junior-to-be aid.

Hart enjoyed the entire camp at Notre Dame.

“What stuck out to me the most was how encouraging they were compared to the other camps I've went too,” he said.

“It was a good experience, they pushed me through the drills and gave me good information.”

He has one other camp scheduled so far and could add more soon.

“I am camping at West Virginia this Wednesday and I am still determining what other places to camp at,” he said.

This trip to South Bend increased Hart’s interest in the Irish.

“This weekend’s visit showed me that they seem really interested and I hope I can possibly get an offer in the future.”
