Irish Making A Run At Five-Star Texas CB

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Notre Dame may not be in the same position as schools like Texas and Ohio State for Anthony Cook, but the Irish are certainly moving in the right direction with the talented 2018 Texas cornerback.

“I’ve been talking to the DB coach, Coach (Todd) Lyght,” Cook said from The Opening here at Nike World Headquarters on Saturday night.

“I like the fact that he told me if I come to Notre Dame, I’ll make an immediate impact, so I like that.
