Irish Improve Standing With Taimani

Sam Taimani had a chance to visit South Bend for a couple days earlier this week. The 2018 Utah lineman learned a ton, but more than anything, he realized Notre Dame could end up being the best fit for him.

“It was great,” the 6-foot-2, 295-pounder said. “Just the atmosphere and everything.”

The Salt Lake City had a packed visit.

“I saw everything,” he said. “We got to tour the campus and I talked to one of the players, Myron (Tagovailoa-Amosa), and we got to see them lift.
