Notre Dame, In – Another opener at Notre Dame Stadium but 2017 marked the first time that the Fighting Irish would play in the newly renovated stadium fresh with a jumbotron, ribbon boards, and luxury suites.  Even with the new amenities of the stadium what Irish fans really wanted to see was how the new coordinators on Brian Kelly’s staff were going to perform in their debut for Notre Dame.
