INTEL: Hayes' Performance Catches Booker's Eye

Jay Hayes’ impressive performance in the season-opening win over Temple didn’t only help Notre Dame to a 49-16 victory over the Owls on Saturday, it also aided the Irish’s recruiting efforts with Thomas Booker‍.

Booker, a 2018 defensive end from Maryland, was on an official visit to South Bend this weekend and got a good look at the Irish’s new defensive scheme under Mike Elko and had his eyes on one player in particular.
