2019 linebacker Lance Dixon‍ was in attendance Saturday night to watch Notre Dame take on Georgia in South Bend.

The West Bloomfield High School standout visited Notre Dame earlier this summer, but still enjoyed a second tour of the campus and the experience of watching the Irish in action.

“We took a tour earlier on before the game, it wasn’t my first tour, but it was still nice,” expressed Dixon. “It was a nice atmosphere; we sat right above the student section.”

During the visit, Dixon had conversations with some of Notre Dame’s recruiting staff.

“I talked to the recruiting coordinators, they told me how they like how they see me play and my style,” explained Dixon.

The speedy linebacker hasn’t received an offer from the Irish yet, but has racked up nine scholarships already from schools like Michigan State, Penn State and Western Michigan among others. The Michigan native explains what scouts like about him.

“They like my speed, my size and how I move for my height and weight,” the 6-foot-3 195 pounder said.

Dixon liked what he saw on Saturday night during his second visit to South Bend. He would like to schedule a third in the near future.

“Notre Dame is a good national program that recruits all over, they’re a national program, and they’re going to be good,” expressed Dixon. “I am going to try and get back to Notre Dame.”
