Notre Dame Looks To Stay Course

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – They’re better. That’s for sure.

And they were plenty good enough on Saturday to get out of here with a 49-20 victory over Boston College.

But the Notre Dame Fighting Irish still have a long way to go to get back in the discussion of being an elite college football team.

The improvements on defense outweigh the backward steps the Notre Dame offense has taken since 2016, but not by much.
