Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly wrapped up the Boston College win on Sunday afternoon with his weekly teleconference. Kelly was pleased with the win and had a few key roster updates at the receiver position.
On receivers Freddy Canteen and Javon McKinley:
“Freddy is going to have surgery on Tuesday for a torn labrum, so he is out for the year.
“The plan is to save a year for him (McKinley).
