The Irish running-game shined once again while Brandon Wimbush had more ups-and-downs on Saturday night in a dominating 52-17 over Miami (OH).
The Irish wanted to establish the momentum early and did so easily. On the second play from scrimmage, we saw a very familiar sight, junior running back Josh Adams sprinting for a 73-yard touchdown to put the Irish on top right away.
The Notre Dame workhorse wasn’t done, and ripped off another 50-plus-yard scoring run a couple drives later.
