Brian Kelly Notebook: Wimbush, Injuries and Defense

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly was pleased his team held off a pesky Wake Forest team on Saturday night, but also felt it was a good lesson for his team as they head into the final three games of the season. 

On the win: 
“We're pleased with the win. Winning is hard, especially in November, and anytime that you find a way to win football games when teams are executing at a high level which Wake Forest executed their offense extremely well today, you're very pleased.
