One game doesn’t make or break a season. Win or lose on Saturday, it doesn’t take away from the good things that have happened for Notre Dame like Josh Adams becoming one of the best backs in college football or players like Te’Von Coney and Julian Love emerging as stars for this defense. Those things will remain as big parts of the season no matter what happens against Stanford.

It would be a lie to act like this game doesn’t mean more than every other game, though.
