ORLANDO –  Could Notre Dame be looking for a running back to replace former commit Markese Stepp after all?

According to Texas running back Keaontay Ingram‍, maybe.

Ingram has been committed to the in-state Longhorns since May, but elected not to sign during last week’s Early Signing Period.

Down here for the Under Armour All-America Game for the next week, Ingram told Irish Sports Daily that Notre Dame checked in on him “about a week ago.
