Shammond Cooper‍ landed an offer from Notre Dame last March and the 2019 St. Louis linebacker made the trip out to South Bend later that month.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has stayed in touch with the Irish ever since, specifically with defensive backs coach Todd Lyght and linebackers coach Clark Lea.
