Irish Sports Daily can confirm through multiple sources that junior defensive tackle Elijah Taylor is no longer with the Notre Dame program.
The 6-foot-3, 275-pounder missed the 2017 season with an LisFranc injury after playing in four games as a sophomore in 2016. Taylor recorded three tackles in the 2016 season finale against USC.
Taylor redshirted as a freshman at Notre Dame.
The former three-star prospect chose the Irish over Duke, Florida State, Indiana, Louisville, Miami, Michigan State, Ohio State, Pitt, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin among others.
