Continuing on with our season ending grading series, today we’ll take a look at the running back position. The Irish backs put on quite a show in 2017.

Season Grade: A-

The running back position certainly had a fantastic year compared to previous years. Junior Josh Adams fell just short of the single-season rushing yardage mark of 1,437 yards set by Vegas Ferguson in 1979.
