Position Grades: Defensive Tackle

No position on defense had Notre Dame fans more worried than defensive tackle heading into last season. They were relying on a former 3 technique to move to 1 tech and former end to moving inside to 3 tech. Due to an injury to Daniel Cage and some recruiting misses in previous classes, they were also going to have to count on true freshmen to provide depth. The list of things that could have gone wrong were plentiful.

A lot ended up going right, though. Those position switches worked out.
