PA S Jayvon Thrift Sees What Makes Notre Dame Special

It’s safe to say this is just the beginning of the relationship between Jayvon Thrift‍ and Notre Dame and the 2019 Pennsylvania seems eager to continue building bonds with the Irish.

The 5-foot-11, 187-pounder hadn’t had much direct contact with the Notre Dame coaching staff, but was still one of the handful of 2019 prospects invited to Saturday’s Junior Day, an invitation Thrift accepted.

“It went good,” the Norwin, Pa., native said afterward.
