Position Grades: Safety

I don’t think anyone knew what to expect from the Notre Dame safeties in 2016. Looking back on it, things couldn’t have gone much worse for that spot. It was a year long struggle for a group that was mostly inexperienced and not deep. That made it difficult to have high expectations for the safeties going into 2017.

I would love to say that it was a banner year for the spot despite the lack of hype, but it was all in all a pretty average season for the position.
