Tre Mosley‍ had the chance to visit Notre Dame for the first time last month and the 2019 Michigan wide receiver enjoyed himself.

“It was pretty good,” said Mosley, who was in town for the Irish’s Junior Day. “I enjoyed myself.

“We took a tour of the campus and saw the field, the dorms. I got a chance to go around the whole campus and see how things work at Notre Dame.”

The West Bloomfield High School standout also had the chance to meet with some of the coaches at Notre Dame.

“They were pretty good,” he said. “It was my first time getting on campus and talking to the coaches. It went pretty good for the first time.”

The coaches had a couple simple messages for the 6-foot-2, 175-pounder.

“They like me a lot,” said Mosley. “They said to just be patient and trust the process. They really enjoy watching my film, so they want me to stay in contact with them to keep building that relationship up.”

Mosley said that’s something he plans to do.

“Definitely,” he said. “Definitely.”

While the Irish are requesting patience, Mosley added another major offer to his list recently when Michigan State extended a scholarship.

“It meant a lot to me,” the West Bloomfield native said. “I grew up watching Michigan and Michigan State as a kid, the rivalry going back and forth. To have offers from both schools means a lot to me.”

Mosley also has offers from schools like Boston College, Indiana, Iowa State, Minnesota, Syracuse and Cincinnati among others.

He will be visiting Ohio State soon, but isn’t sure of other future trips.

Mosley will be looking to identify the best fit for him on multiple fronts.

“Just the best fit as far as academics and athletics, a team that’s like a family will be how I make my decision.”
