Notre Dame Reunions in Kiper's Latest Mock

With the majority of the big fish off the board in NFL free agency, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. came out with an updated Mock Draft ($) and Notre Dame fans should certainly be intrigued.

Quenton Nelson isn't in his top-5 picks like some other draft analysts, but Kiper does have Nelson reuniting with his former coach, Harry Hiestand, with the Chicago Bears taking him with the 8th pick.

Mike McGlinchey seems to be creeping up draft boards and he has moved up Kiper's too. Kiper has him going 16th to the Baltimore Ravens. That would put him and former Notre Dame All-American Ronnie Stanley on the same line again with the thinking that Stanley would play the left side and McGlinchey could play on the right like both did in 2015 for the Irish.

There are six other players Notre Dame faced this past season that projected in the first round with Sam Darnold, Bradley Chubb, and Roquan Smith all slotted in Kiper's top-10.
