There is only so much that can be learned from day one of fall camp. Players are getting adjusted to being on the field for two hours again. They are working in a team setting for the first time in months. They aren’t even wearing pads yet.
One thing we do learn is where the coaches view the depth chart after the summer. There typically aren’t too many surprises or big changes after the spring, but it does give everyone a starting point to work with.
