In the Thursdays leading up to spring practice Sandra Day O’Connor High School holds what head coach Steve Casey calls “Zero Dark Thursdays.”

“We’re out there at 5 a.m.,” Casey says of the early-morning workouts, which include competition, conditioning and other drills.
