Before you check to see if this is something wrong with me, let me clarify what those numbers mean. It’s the number of plays on eight of Wake Forest’s 13 drives.

That’s exactly what was needed from the Notre Dame defense in this game. They needed to get off the field on a scorching hot day playing against an offense that wanted to run 100 plays (and still almost came close to doing so).
