2020 OL Dylan Barrett Ready For Notre Dame Return

Dylan Barrett’s recruiting profile has been steadily rising over the past few months.

“I have received three new offers from Mizzou, West Virginia, and Vanderbilt,” the 2020 Illinois offensive lineman explained.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder already had offers from schools like Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue, Duke, Boston College and Cincinnati among others.

“I’m very blessed to have those offers and the opportunity to play at those schools,” the St. Charles East High School standout said.

Barrett has already made a trio of trips to Notre Dame, including visits for the spring game and a summer camp, and will return to South Bend for this weekend’s game against Stanford.

“I have been in on and off contact with them,” he said of the Irish.

He’s looking forward to seeing what Notre Dame is like during the fall.

“Just the gameday feel and the atmosphere then,” he said of what he wants to see.

He hasn’t taken any other unofficial visits yet this fall, but has a few in mind.

“Wisconsin, Iowa, and Northwestern,” he said.

An Irish offer would go a long with Barrett, but he’s already said, at some point he’ll need to hone in on the schools that have already offered.
