Brian Kelly Notebook | Virginia Tech Win

Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly spoke following the 45-23 win at Virginia Tech on Saturday night. 

On running back Dexter Williams taking it 97 yards to the house:
“A huge lift. I’d say it was pretty big. We had a negative two-yard rush on first down, and we had a couple plays we felt comfortable to run down there. We pulled Tommy Kraemer, and Dexter has great speed. He was able to hit it.

“There are no levels to that defense.
