There isn’t a year that goes by where it appears Notre Dame has an easy schedule on paper. Most years it’s just as tough in reality.

2018 doesn’t look like it’s trending that way.

Before week one the Irish were set to play five teams that were ranked in the initial AP top-25. As it stands right now, only one of those five has remained ranked.

Michigan will likely hang around the top-25 all season. Stanford is going to have go on a run to get back in.
