Notre Dame averaged 7.7 yards per play against Northwestern in the second half. That’s outstanding and deserves to be celebrated. Ian Book’s ability to continue to come through when it matters most has been a theme since he has taken over QB1 duties and it’s transformed the Irish offense.

Even with the positive changes that have been made, the lack of success running the ball for Notre Dame remains an issue.
