Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly spoke following Thursday’s practice and addressed quarterback Ian Book’s status along with the other Irish quarterbacks. 

On quarterback Ian Book: 
“Day-to-day situation. Upper body. He’s been at practice, but he has been limited.”

On realizing there was an injury to Book:
“We knew he was banged up during the game. In follow-ups on Sunday, we knew were going to have to keep an eye on him this week.
