Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly spoke following the 36-3 victory over No. 12 Syracuse. 

On the win:
“Good football game today. W got off to a good start. That was, obviously, very important to us, being on the road. Defensively, I thought the plan was outstanding. We executed it flawlessly. I think our staff did a great job of putting our kids in a really good position to succeed, and then we have to execute. We executed very well.
