If you read 6 Thoughts last week, then you know why Clark Lea is nothing like Bob Diaco in terms of his philosophy. He proved it again this week adapting his game plan to shut down Syracuse in dominating fashion.

Lea disrupted a team that wanted to play uptempo in many different ways. A team that came in averaging 85 plays per game managed only 45 on their first 11 drives of the game. They ended up running their final 29 plays (for a total of 74) largely against a group of backups.
