Notre Dame To Host Top 2021 In-State OL Blake Fisher

2021 Avon (Ind.) offensive lineman Blake Fisher‍ visited Notre Dame for the Florida State game and left with an offer from head coach Brian Kelly.

“It was actually kind of shocking, I didn’t really see it coming,” Fisher told Irish Sports Daily following the offer. “Just being so young, I thought they’d wait until next year after my junior season. But I think I’ve had a really good season playing varsity and being able to do the things I’m doing on the field against other guys who have D-I offers and have committed. I think that stands out because of how young I am and what I do against them.”

Fisher will return to South Bend this weekend to take in Saturday's Cotton Bowl practice. 

The 6-foot-6, 287-pounder is quickly an impressive offer list as Notre Dame, Florida State, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Missouri, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue, Toledo and Wisconsin have offered.
