Notre Dame offensive coordinator Chip Long spoke on Saturday morning before the Irish took the practice field. 

On how the game plan comes together during the week:
“I’m not tinkering with new plays before we start the game. Everything we run we repped a lot. We carry a lot of offense. Friday, we’ll have close to a 100-play walkthrough. Those guys are sharp. The ball isn’t being thrown, but guys are flying around. That’s the benefit of having bright kids.
