Recruitment Rundown
As with most of the kids in Notre Dame 2019 class, Correll's recruitment lacked drama but the Irish staff had to work to land a commitment from the four-star prospect. Correll visited Notre Dame and Ohio State numerous times but in the end, the Buckeyes official visit was canceled as the Cincinnati native committed to Notre Dame.

Correll is going to play either center or guard for the Irish and what I’ve seen from him suggests he can become a quality play at either spot. He has the right mentality to be very successful at the position.
If I could describe his style of play in one word, it would be violent. I mean that in the most complimentary way possible. He is not Quenton Nelson as a prospect and I don’t want anyone to assume that. But if we’re talking just about the level of nasty he brings to the field, then it’s similar to Nelson.
