Recruitment Rundown
Notre Dame identified Kristofic before most programs as Notre Dame freshman quarterback Phil Jurkovec was his teammate. In a rare feat in today’s world of recruiting, Kristofic managed to get on and off campus without anyone but the staff knowing last winter. However, it was far from over as Kristofic took trips to Clemson and a few trips to Ohio State before committing to Notre Dame on April 23rd.

It’s rare to see Notre Dame fans excited about an offensive line prospect let alone one who was ranked as a 3-star when offered. There should be some excitement around Kristofic after his senior season, though. He not only took a big step forward with his physical development, but with his game overall. He already showed that he finished blocks as a junior, but there was an added level of edge to his game.
I gave Kristofic the biggest bump with my grades out of any commit. He moved from an 89 to a 93. This was pretty much what I expected from him, but sometimes there are expectations and players don’t meet them. Kristofic did and then some.
He still has some physical development to do, but he has all of the tools to be a future starter at either tackle spot for the Irish and a very good one. Next to Kyle Hamilton, I believe he has the highest ceiling in Notre Dame’s 2019 class.
Favorite quote to ISD
“I have nothing but very high thoughts and praise to give Coach Quinn. I really like him a lot, and it’s been great getting to know him over the last several months. As it gets closer to January, we’re getting that relationship stronger before I get there.
“It’s been great getting to know him, and my whole family really loves Coach. It’s been a good time.”
